In a bid to stabilized the astronomical and galloping price of cement in Ondo State,Dangote Group the leading Cement Manufacturer in Africa recently re- strategies as the company stormed Akure, the Ondo State capital with over 50 truck load of cements which they offloaded into a warehouse on Ilesha Road.
Sunshine DailyWatch reliably gathered that a similar venture was simultaneously embarked upon by Dangote Group as the company stormed Edo State with about 70,000 cement bags while over 40,000 bags was also warehoused at Ado-Ekiti and invariably making the residents beneficiary from this gesture.
.
Both Ekiti and Edo states were also beneficiaries of the repositioning strategy embarked upon by the African largest conglomerate, Dangote Group to stabilized the price of Cement in every nooks and cranny of the country.
Investigation carried out by Sunshine Daily Watch on Dangote Group operations in Ondo State revealed that the marketing strategist and whizkid behind the smooth operation is one unassuming Hausa lad popular among Dangote clients as Napoleon Mbula
Some Dangote major distributors interviewed said that if not for Napoleon they would not have still be in business because he is a born marketer and he understand the business terrain here despite that he is a non indigenes he has so much integrated into the system.
All effort by SDW reporters to have a word with Mr.Napoleon Mbula the same mans coordinating Edo and Ekiti proved abortive as he was seeing busy with the offloading and making frantic calls to the other deports in Edo and Ekiti state.
But sources closed to Dangote Group revealed that the gesture was in line with the company’s plan to stabilize the rising cost of cement in the state, a move the source said would afford the present government to pursue relentlessly its housing project when it is finally kick starts.
Further investigations by Sunshine DailyWatch revealed that other interested groups, stakeholders and within the state are jittery over Dangote’s move as prices for cement over the week had remain stable.
In offloading the truck loads of cements, Mr Napoleon deployed a well organized and structured plan in which its trucks were parked at the outskirt of the city without causing traffic congestion and only the truck that will be discharged are the only one permitted to entire the town to off load at the warehouse.
Sunshine Daily Watch also gathered that the Ondo State Government as well as the State Security Service conducted investigations into Dangote’s influx of cements into the state and upon discovery of its genuine intention; the matter was left to rest.
While other competing brands savour the loss and the share of the market to Dangote Groups made a passerby who saw the long que of the over 35trailers yet on offloaded on the Ondo,Ado Ekiti and Ikare-Akoko road axis of the town to say that Obajana miracle had been transferred to Akure
